We’re a close-knit team of seasoned chefs with backgrounds in hotels and fine dining. Honestly, “cooking is our passion” might sound cliché, but for us, it’s the heart and soul of everything we do. We’ve had the privilege of serving high-profile clients and hosting prestigious events, yet our true love has always been BBQ. It was tough watching our friends and family pay sky-high prices for quality BBQ, so we decided to change that.
“Shiok” is a local term that means excellent, and we built our brand on that promise. We wanted to create a BBQ experience that feels real and accessible—not overly fancy or exclusive, but genuine and full of heart. While we can certainly whip up luxurious steaks, our mission is to make authentic, quality BBQ available to anyone who loves it.
Transitioning to a Wider Stage
Our journey began with small, private BBQ events where we offered live, on-site chef services. As our passion grew, so did our ambition. We saw a clear gap in the market for high-quality, minimally processed BBQ food. That’s when we launched our own BBQ Factory, pouring our heart into research and development to perfect every recipe.
Today, we supply directly to restaurants, cafes, and hotels as a wholesaler. Whether it’s a $300 steak (200-300g) or a 1kg steak for just $200-300, we prove that amazing BBQ doesn’t have to be expensive. We’re on a mission to spread our love for BBQ, one delicious bite at a time.
