How many guests can a package serve?
Our assistant packages serve 5 to 100 guests. Pick the size that matches your head count, and use the pax buttons above the packages to filter. Bigger sizes come with more assistants, shown in each size name.
What is the difference between a BBQ assistant and a BBQ chef?
Both are trained cooks who grill your food on site. An assistant serves it in simple containers with basic garnishing. A chef adds sharing plates and a fuller table, see our live stations with a chef.
What is included?
The food for your size, the essential BBQ tools, the charcoal and your assistant on site. Food is served in disposable trays. Ice is not included, so add an ice cube with foam box if you need cold drinks. When you request a quotation we also ask whether your venue has a grill.
How long does the assistant stay?
Standard service is 3 hours. Your assistant arrives on time for your schedule and grills until the food is served.
How far ahead should I book?
Book at least 3 days ahead. Bookings made less than 72 hours before the event carry a last-minute surcharge per staff member, from $50 to $100 plus GST.
Can you grill at a BBQ pit or a condo?
Yes. Read our guide to BBQ pits and venues. Venue access, guard house registration and grill photos are sorted after you book, when needed.
Can I change the menu?
Each package is a set menu. Tell us about dietary needs, such as vegetarian guests, in the notes when you request a quotation, and we will let you know what we can do.
Can I get a quotation for my company?
