We’re a crew of seasoned chefs who have cut our teeth in hotels and fine dining restaurants. Sure, saying “cooking is our passion” might sound cliché, but we genuinely believe we’re among the best in the business. Our background includes serving high-profile clients and hosting prestigious dining events—but our true love has always been BBQ. It was frustrating that sharing this love with our families and friends often meant sky-high price tags. That’s exactly why we came together to create Shiok BBQ.
"Shiok" is a local term that means excellent, and we wanted to build a BBQ brand that resonates with everyone in Singapore—not something overly fancy or exclusive. While we’re capable of whipping up luxurious steaks, our goal was to make authentic, quality BBQ accessible to all who appreciate it.
Transitioning to a Wider Stage
Our journey started with small, private BBQ events featuring chef onsite services, beginning with just one to six pros. As our passion and team grew, so did our ambition. We noticed a gap in the market for high-quality, minimally processed BBQ food. That’s when we launched our very own BBQ Factory—investing time and heart into R&D to perfect our offerings.
Now, as wholesalers, we supply directly to restaurants, cafes, and hotels, cutting out the middleman to offer unbeatable prices. Whether it’s a $300 steak weighing 200-300g or a 1kg steak for just $200-300, we’re proving every day that great BBQ doesn’t have to break the bank. We’re spreading our love for BBQ and making it accessible, one delicious bite at a time.
